Job Summary

The purpose of this role is the set-up, preparation, organization and service of food and beverage items. The Snack Bar Attendant will also monitor inventory levels by ordering supplies, stocking merchandise, and taking inventory of products.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Set-up and organize snack bar for daily operation including brewing coffee
• Greet customers, take orders, prepare and serve food and beverages to students, faculty and staff
• Operate cash register and receive payments
• Ensure proper food handling procedures including, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperature of products
• Clean and sanitize work station and equipment
• Order and receive inventory and supplies as needed
• Perform all opening and closing duties based on operational checklists
• Perform other duties as necessary

Job Summary

The purpose of this role is to meet customer needs through delivering snack and beverage products to assigned customer, and merchandising product in a manner to increase sales.

• Display and rotate products according to Company standards
• Load and unload delivery truck daily
• Resolve discrepancies
• Create invoice for products sold to vending machines and collect cash
• Finalize end of day paperwork
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers
• Perform other duties as necessary

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license and safe driving record

Work Environment and Equipment

Work generally takes place in customer accounts. There may be exposure to a variety of conditions at customer account, including dust and foul odors. Individuals must be able to manipulate a two-wheel dolly.

• Communicate with the Customer upon arrival and departure from the store.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

Qualifications

• Sufficient formal or informal education to ensure the ability to read and write at a level required for successful job performance.
• *A valid driver's license and required level of insurance coverage
• *Reliable transportation to and from accounts
• *A valid pallet jack and/or forklift certification where necessary
• Knowledge of general merchandising
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
• Basic knowledge of computers and tablets

• Skills in problem solving and judgement and decision making
• Ability to provide attention to detail
• Ability to perform miscellaneous job functions in a scheduled timeframe
• Must be flexible and adaptable to support the team to obtain Company goals.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holiday hours.
